Artist’s Statement
Throughout the process of art making, I always try to combine femininity and spirituality as interchangeable elements. Feminine energy is often neglected and its absence leaves an imbalance in our souls and ultimately our world. Fortunately, feminine energy is persistent and it continues to resurface despite any attempts to bury it with violence, neglect or persecution. The continuous presence of the feminine which exists equally in both men and women reminds us that we can connect with its sacred flow at any time. Mystical images of women appear in my work for good reason as their appearance denotes strength and a determination to seek divine balance.
